We primarily treat dogs and cats, which make up the majority of the pets we care for.

We can also see some small exotic pets on a limited basis, depending on the species and medical concern. If you have an exotic pet, please call our clinic so we can confirm whether we are able to help.

Appointments are preferred, but we do accept walk-ins when our schedule allows.

We do not offer routine emergency or after-hours care. For emergencies, please contact or visit one of the following hospitals:

Please bring any previous medical records, vaccine history, and any medications or supplements your pet is currently taking.

Most pets should have a wellness exam every 6 to 12 months to help monitor their health and catch concerns early.

Vaccination needs depend on your pet’s species, age, and lifestyle.

Dogs: After completing the initial puppy series, dogs typically receive Distemper, Parvo, Leptospirosis, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines annually. The Rabies vaccine may be given every three years after the initial one-year vaccine.

Cats: After completing the initial kitten series, cats typically receive FVRCP and Rabies vaccines annually. The Rabies vaccine may be given every three years after the initial one-year vaccine.

FeLV: The FeLV vaccine is given every one to two years after the initial series. It is considered a core vaccine for all kittens, regardless of lifestyle. For older cats, it may be recommended based on their lifestyle and risk factors, including:

• Living in a shelter or multi-cat environment where new cats are frequently introduced
• Spending any amount of time outdoors

It may not be necessary for cats that remain fully indoors.

Pet insurance usually works by reimbursement. Clients pay at the time of service, submit the invoice to their insurance company, and are reimbursed based on their plan.

We accept all major credit cards, checks, cash, CareCredit, and Cherry. Cherry is a payment plan option that allows approved clients to pay over time.

Spay and neuter timing depends on your pet’s species, breed, size, and overall health.

Cats are generally recommended by 5 to 6 months of age. Small and medium breed dogs are typically recommended around 6 to 8 months. Large and giant breed dogs may be recommended after 1 year of age, depending on the pet.

For deep-chested dogs, we may also recommend a prophylactic gastropexy at the time of sterilization to help reduce the risk of bloat, also known as GDV.
